| After a year where we discovered more about evangelism and then a year of discipleship, 2016 is going to concentrate on Jesus: the baptism of Jesus, the miracles of Jesus, the longings of Jesus, the person of Jesus. It is our hope that our preaching and worship will not only inform us about Jesus but be a bridge to enable us to encounter him again and again. This sermon - on the first Sunday of the new year, when the church often thinks of the coming of the Wise Men - introduces these themes. | |||
